Born in Haiti, and raised in the catacombs of Folkestone; Jake Vegas spent his youth growing up amidst the hookers, hustle and bustle of the streets of London’s colourful So Ho district. 

He is the originator of many of London’s early Burlesque revival clubs such as;

More Than Vegas, Blue Martini Lady Luck Club 

Jake also co- created with Zimon Drake RIP  the infamous club ‘The Black Gardenia’ on Dean Street in London’s Soho.

Jake was been featured in ‘Sleaze Nation’.

He can be found playing regular gigs throughout London with the band ‘Jake Vegas and the Black Diamonds.’ 

We are excited to let you know he has a few hundred DVDs of his first album ‘Crack Went The Bat’ still left under his bed, in his caravan.
